For a long time Nintendo fans were uncertain of the future of Nintendo Directs due to the unfortunate passing of former CEO and President of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata. A few months back the new President of Nintendo, Tatsumi Kimishima, stated Nintendo Directs would continue. Fans were overjoyed, but over time began to get annoyed by the lack of “promised” Nintendo Directs. Many of these people went on and spammed Nintendo’s social media posts with “WHERE’S THE DIRECT” or things along these lines. Luckily for these fans, today Kimishima announced Nintendo Directs will return, this is nothing new, but he added there is one for 2015 that has also been scheduled. There will also be several changes to the format. It is unknown what these changes will be or when this Direct is, but it’s good to know that they are indeed coming this year.
