The Chibi-Robo! series has always had a tough time being popular, but if the next installment doesn’t go over well, it may very well be the last game for the little robot. When discussing “Zip Lash” and its departure from the 3D-adventure style of gameplay with The Verge, producer Kensuke Tanabe said “To be honest, this might be the last chance for us… If the character can gain more recognition, I believe that we’ll have a chance to produce another adventure-style game for a large number of people.” Hopefully Chibi-Robo’s battery doesn’t run out too soon.
